Aid Still Required
Description: Aid Still Required (ASR) is a non-profit, humanitarian movement focused on rebuilding communities through sustainable solutions in the aftermath of natural disasters and human crises. We believe everyone, everywhere, is entitled to live in dignity, health and peace. We view post-crisis situations as opportunities to do just that. By approaching restoration on an ecologically-friendly basis and utilizing a region’s native environment, Aid Still Required “builds back better” and builds back green.

Always Living In View of the Environment
Description: A.L.I.V.E. is a student-run organization which strives to bring environmental awareness to the forefront of individuals’ lives. A.L.I.V.E.’s mission was inspired by the efforts of Conservation International, a non-profit organization which supports the “hot spot theory” and promotes the conservation of our planet’s natural resources. Ashley Ellis brought the idea behind A.L.I.V.E into action in 2006, and remains the president of the organization. Our mission is to break down the myth that citizens of Earth can rely on global solutions to enact change and promote conservation. Instead, we hope to inspire people to take individual responsibility for the deconstruction of nature. Rather than turning to government solutions to solve the depletion of resources and extinction of wildlife. A.L.I.V.E. challenges YOU to be aware of how you effect nature and to always live in view of the environment.
